Sunny Markham’s
Natural Stone Artisan Grave Markers

Cost:
Sunny’s sand-carved natural stone grave markers start at $499*. No concrete is used to set the marker. Rather, it is placed on a larger, flat pedestal stone which has been snuggled down into the soil. Price includes the larger stone that the carved marker is set upon.
*If available, specialty shapes such as Heart, Texas, etc. are usually around $30 additional and will be quoted per selection.

Size of Carved Stone:
Approximately 18 x 11 x 2 (some larger, some smaller, depending on stone.) The stone sizes for the Urn Burials are smaller. These flat, natural stones of unique shades, shapes and markings have been carefully selected by me for beauty, size and carvability.

The Process:
To begin, you choose your stone from the available stones I have on display at either Countryside and/or at my home. I can also send photos if you’re unable to see them in person. Next, you purchase your stone and email me exactly what you want on it. Then I’ll design the features onto the stone and send you a photo. Upon your approval, I’ll cut the stencil, complete the engraving and paint the features. The stone is finished with a monument sealant that will preserve and protect the marker for years to come. The sealant also enhances the natural beauty of the stone.

The Placement:
You are welcome to have a marker placement ceremony for your Loved One. If purchased prior to a death, the marker may be placed on the pre-purchased plot.

What’s Included in the $499* base price:

Last Name
First name, Middle name or initial
Date of Birth – Date of Death

*Three lines are included. The information can appear in any order you choose. If an additional feature such as a short epitaph or graphic image is desired, a new price will be quoted and agreed upon. Additional features start at $75 per feature.

Production Time:
Production time is approximately 4 weeks or longer, depending on my workload.
